Manually crafted standard-size hand-forged Viking knife (Krumkniv style) from Damascus steel. It comes with a genuine leather scabbard.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is a fully functioning knife that is sharpened. It can be used to cut materials like leather, cords, etc., but it can also be used as a cutlery knife.

How is the knife made?

The knife is manually hand-forged from several layers of two different steel materials and made into one piece. Once the appropriate design is made, the knife is ground properly, sand-papered and polished. While there are techniques to get a more specific Damascus pattern, the complete end result is unpredictable, making every single piece totally unique, therefore no one will ever have the exact same knife as you.

The knives are made from 256-layer billets and the steels used are 1095 and 15n20 - which is a very good combination for making Damascus knives/axes/swords, because of the durability, sharpness and also high-contrast color pattern.

Damascus knife

The picture doesn't do it justice, it's beautiful in person. Also, be careful when unpacking, it's quite sharp.
